Core's Ion Implantation Service Is Sold to INNOViON

Core Systems has completed the sale of their Production and Specialty ion implantation service business to INNOViON Corp. of San Jose, CA. Under the terms of the sale, INNOViON will acquire the assets of the implant service division and will transfer that business to their San Jose fab as quickly as possible.

Core will partner with INNOViON to make the transfer as smooth as possible over the next 2 weeks. Key Core employees will move to INNOViON to assure that technical and service support will continue to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Core Systems is pleased to announce the signing of the lease on our new ion implanter disk refurbishment facility in Fremont, CA.

This new facility accommodates the continued growth we have experienced in this sector and will allow us to better serve the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.

With an expanded cleanroom and custom-designed workspace, we look forward to increased efficiency and faster turnaround for our customers.

Our Disk Refurbishment Division has made great strides in the past year and this move represents the next phase in our growth.
